Shipping Methods. Merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service where possible. In addition, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to customers.

Foreign Orders.All foreign orders must be pre-paid before the order is sent.Due to various rate differences and depending on what items you order,your freight fees will vary.It is important that you contact AJGeneral for instructions regarding all foreign orders.Please enclose the items that you wish to order so we may calculate the best possible way to ship your order.For Canadian customers we use Canadians manufacturers and suppliers whenever possible for the best possible price.A $12.00 foreign processing fee will be added to all orders that must come from the United States.
Truck Freight.Products on this website that require to be shipped by truck will usually have a notice included along with the description of the product.This means that the item is to large for FedEx to accept and will need to be shipped by other means.Items required to be shipped in this fashion must be pre-paid in advance including freight charge before the shipment can commence.Most products are shipped from California and there is a $100.00 fee for all out of state truck shipments.Residential deliveries require a $36.00 additional fee.Whenever possible include a commercial business address.
FedFx Oversized or Overweight. Items considered oversized can be sent via FedEx.However,there will be an oversize rate indicating a fee for 30 lbs or 70 lbs depending on the item.Boxes that are 84"x108" are considered to be single oversize items and will be charged at a minimum rate of 30 lbs.per box.Boxes that are over 108"x130" are considered double oversize and are charged a minimum rate of 70 lbs. Single or double items that weigh more than the minimum weight will be charged for their actual weight.Some items are considered oversize and are not indicated.We reserve the right to charge accordingly for any order that has an oversize item even though it was not indicated in the description of the product.

Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier.Always check the contents of your shippment in the presents of the person delivering the merchendise.We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier. Should any damage occur,immediately notifiy FedEx or the truck freight company delivering your goods so that all necessary steps will be taken to insure prompt replacement of any damaged goods.Notify AJGeneral for instructions on returning damaged goods.AJGeneral is not responsible if no notification is given within 3 days of receipt.
Manufacturers Defects. If a product appears to have a manufactures defect, contact our Customer Service department for instructions. Do not return products to us without first calling to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.

Return Merchandise Policy. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. For questions about returning merchandise contact our Customer Service and ask for our Return Department. The return of non-defective merchandise, when authorized, will inncur 30% re-stocking fee if returned after 30 days of receipt, at AJGeneral's discretion. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. No returns will be authorized after 30 days from the receipt of shipment.Customer will pay for all shipping fees on all returns.A return autherization document will be included on the back of each invoice.
Important:Any item that has be intalled,altered,painted,or deemed non-resalable by either AJGeneral or its suppliers will be returned to the customer.Any literature,manuals,printed materials and diagrams are non-returnable due to the nature of the material.Special orders,electrical items and stencil kits are non-returnable.
Once a return is authorized by our return department you should: 1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department. 2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package. 3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department. We will notify you via phone, mail, or e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 to 21 business days of our receiving your return.
We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. Your are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
Reproduction Rights
